The Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry says it is very heartened by the Central Bank’s 1st Quarter Economic Report for 2023.
President of the Chamber Anthony Branker tells CBC News the report is timely, as the island prepares to enter into the festive period.
Meanwhile, economist Jeremy Stephen has also been weighing in on different aspects of the Central Bank Governor’s report.
He believes while there has been a slowing of inflation, there are some economic realities and factors that may keep some prices of goods and services high.
