Businesses to benefit from access to a billion dollars in financing

Businesses in Barbados and the Caribbean stand to benefit from a billion dollars being made available through the Cairo-based, Afreximbank, aimed at boosting Afro-Caribbean trade.

The update was provided by Minister in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Ryan Straughn, who was a guest on CBC TV8’s Morning Report.

Mr. Straughn adds the establishment of a branch of Afreximbank in the region will fast track the provision of funds.
