Workers at the Barbados Water Authority are tonight in shock, in mourning and questioning how one of their colleagues lost his life in an accident in Boscobelle, St. Peter this afternoon.
The deceased is 56-year-old Victor Blackman from Four Hill, St. Peter, who at the time of the crash was the passenger in a water tanker which overturned while travelling along Boscobelle Road in the area of Baltic Road.
The driver, 46-year-old Rohan Wilkinson, was pulled from the vehicle and treated at the scene for his injuries.
Police Communications and Public Affairs Officer, Inspector Rodney Inniss gave details on what occurred.
An eyewitness also spoke to CBC News, giving an account of what she saw.
