Minister of Foreign Affairs Kerrie Symmonds was among Caribbean representatives who met with the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu in New York.
Other present included the President of the Dominican Republic, the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, the Haitian Prime Minister along with the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis.
The leaders presented the current challenges their countries face in managing water resources and public health.
Prime Minister Netanyahu directed a delegation of Israeli experts to go to the Caribbean and evaluate the needs and propose assistance programs in these areas.
