Another calypso tent has officially launched.
On Saturday, it was the turn of the Carter’s Shining Stars at the Carter’s car park in Wildey.
They will open their doors on June 23 at the Daphne Joseph Hackett Theatre.
A star-studded line up is offering soca lovers a range of calypso presentations for the 2023 Crop Over Festival.
The 19 performers include a number of veterans like De Announcer, King Key Star, Pompey, Jah Stone and Bumba.
Shining Stars Calysonian and Tent Manager Juliana “Julie” Sealy is excited about the product the tent is offering this year.
She says in addition to the calypso component patrons attending the tent this year could win a door prize each night the show is held.
