The much touted Child Protection Bill was brought before Parliament with Government standing by the legislation.
The revolutionary legislation comes as activities continue this month of May – Child Month.
Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Kirk Humphrey dismissed concerns about it being a free for all for children.
He told Parliament there were deficits in the current Child Protection Legislation that needed to be addressed.
