The traditional hustle and bustle is on as shoppers seek last-minute items to make their Christmas bright.
Here are scenes from Swan Street, Bridgetown this morning, where shoppers spoke to our Christopher Wood about what items they had to get this Christmas Eve.
Some Barbadians who were out in their numbers in the City said it was less of a case of last-minute shopping.
They took the trip on Christmas Eve in search of minor items to complete their Christmas shopping lists.
It was “beginning to look a lot like long lines” from earlier in the morning, as Barbadians were out at bakeries gathering their cakes and other treats for Christmas celebrations.
This was the scene at Nicholls Baking in Bibby’s Lane, St. Michael.
