There has been a mending of the fences between the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs and the parties at the centre of a dispute over a proposal to tackle elder abuse in Barbados.
Speaking to the media after addressing a stakeholders’ meeting on the 2023 – 2028 National Policy on Aging in Barbados, Elder Affairs Minister Kirk Humphrey said all parties have met and have pledged to work together in advancing the work as it relates to the elderly.
