Community effort needed

Community involvement has been identified as one of the most critical aspects of the care of the elderly.

Member of Parliament, Cynthia Forde, made the observation as she represented the Ministry of Elder Affairs and People Empowerment, during a church service this morning.

The service was to mark the end of Senior Citizens Month. It also coincided with the United Nations International Day of Older Persons, which was held under the theme, Building Caring Communities is Essential”.
