Some COVID-19 positive individuals could be placed in quarantine hotels if the current trend of positive COVID-19 cases continues.
The revelation from Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kenneth George.
He says the increase in cases over the last few weeks has placed the island’s isolation facilities under unprecedented pressure, and he’s worried about the impact on the local health care system.
Dr. George’s comments come after Barbados recorded 110 new positive COVID-19 cases out of 1787 tests.
