More reports are surfacing about people preventing elderly relatives from getting a COVID-19 vaccine.
Raising the alarm this time around is Dr. Lynda Williams, President of the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners.
According to her, it’s one of the factors leading to the mounting COVID-19 death toll in Barbados, with many of the over 200 victims of the virus here being registered as unvaccinated.
Dr. Williams revealed to the Morning Report one such instance, where an elderly woman was pressured not to get the jab.
