There’s concern several Barbadian children are living in homes without electricity.
Child Rights Expert Faith Marshall-Harris says it’s an issue many Barbadians are not aware of, but one the island has to address.
She has been made aware of the development from her work with the Faith Marshall-Harris / Sandy Lane Charitable Trust Helpline for Children At Risk.
She made the comments at a Barbados Association of Professional Social Workers Special Presentation at Warrens Office Tower, St. Michael, in recognition of International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
