Barbados has lauded the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) for its contribution to education over its 50 years of existence.
Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training Kay McConney says the CXC and its staff have made the institution what it is.
Ms. McConney says the council has been a pillar guiding the region’s educational system.
She made the comments at the CXC’s 50th anniversary dinner and awards ceremony at the Hilton Resort.
While recognising the advances regarding technology, Ms. McConney says she looks forward to seeing CXC step in an adaptive direction.
