The Substance Abuse Foundation has begun to celebrate Drug Awareness Month.
The Foundation held a church service to kick off the celebrations on Sunday.
Speaking at the service, the Director of Clinical Services at Verdun and Marina House, Allison Gotip, said the issue of drugs needs to be addressed in all organizations and communities.
Also speaking at the service was one of the graduates from Verdun House, known as Anderson A. He shared a message to the congregation about how drug addicts should be treated.
