There seems to be a new drug in Barbados, believed to be a strain of marijuana, and its potent effect on users has already captured the attention of some local officials.
A number of viral videos showing the near paralysing effects have been making the rounds on social media.
When CBC reached out to the National Council on Substance Abuse, it said it is aware of the videos and concerned about this new development.
The agency also revealed revealed that it is investigating the matter and will issue a statement about it in due course.
