A magnitude 4.0 earthquake was recorded in the waters between Barbados and St Vincent and the Grenadines last evening.
The Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies says the quake struck at about 5:14 p.m.
It was located at Latitude 13.11 North and Longitude 60.34 West or about 81 kilometres West of Bridgetown, Barbados and 99 kilometres east of Kingstown, St Vincent.
The quake was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometres.
