A short-term measure put in place to ease the burden on Barbadians is being extended.
It’s the Social Compact between Government and the private sector, which in effect provides for the mark-up on a basket of goods to be reduced.
During a media conference today, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Kerrie Symmonds announced the intention for it to be extended until September.
