Barbados’ economy is forecast to continue on its growth trajectory this year.
That’s the word from Governor of the Central Bank, Cleviston Haynes as he delivered the latest quarterly review of the island’s economy.
He says the rejuvenated recovery of the economy has been driven by the tourism sector.
Mr. Haynes has however warned about what he calls diverse and interrelated risks, including the resurgence of COVID-19 cases in China and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
He wants the country to press ahead to ensure growth is sustainable.
