Despite young people coming forward to get vaccinated against COVID-19, Co-Coordinator of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, Major David Clarke says the numbers remain small.
The programme meanwhile is continuing efforts to get young people inoculated and has been doing so through a number of pop-up vaccination sites.
Major Clarke made the revelation on CBC TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados.
He says the Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson and Sinopharm vaccines are currently available, and officials will be concentrating on schools in a bid to get more young people vaccinated.
