Government is moving to procure equipment to ensure the Ministry of Transport and Works can maintain hundreds of village and tenantry roads on an annual basis.
The revelation from Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley who has set a target of at least 200 small roads each year.
Speaking during a groundbreaking ceremony at Carmichael Road, St. George, she explained the equipment will be leased to UCAL, in keeping with a manifesto promise made by her administration.
