With prostate cancer claiming the lives of hundreds of men here in Barbados each year, the Barbados Cancer Society is ramping up its efforts to raise awareness of the condition and to get men tested.
The latest initiative is a cancer walk slated for the 21st of this month.
Stressing the importance of the event, President of the Society Professor David Rosin, has been sharing some local cancer stats.
Cemix and the District Grand Lodge are on board for the initiative offering various forms of support.
