Local officials are still pushing ahead with plans to secure COVID-19 vaccines for children under 11.
Co-Coordinator of the National Vaccination Programme Dr. Elizabeth Ferdinand, gave the assurance during an interview with CBC News.
Dr. Ferdinand also disclosed authorities are working to secure more doses of AstraZeneca.
She also spoke about the current batch of vaccines in hand, providing details about their expiration.
