As Easter draws nearer, the Ministry of the Environment and National Beautification, Blue and Green Economy has announced extended opening hours for fish markets from Monday, March 25, to Thursday, March 28.
The Bridgetown Fishing Complex, the Millie Ifill, Berinda Cox and Paynes Bay Fish Markets will all operate from Monday to Saturday, between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, persons visiting the Speightstown Fish Market, in St. Peter will have an additional hour to get their fish, as it will open from 7:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m.
The opening and closing times for the fish market at Consett Bay in St. John remain unchanged at 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday. All markets will be closed on Good Friday, March 29. (PR/BGIS)
