Family members being evicted due to COVID-19 stigmatisation

COVID-19 stigmatisation has reached the stage where people are now evicting their own family members who are under home isolation.

This news has been confirmed by Manager of the Home Isolation Programme, Dr. Adanna Grandison.

She shed some light on the issue during the People’s Business, where the focus was COVID-19 isolation, vaccination and misinformation.

Dr. Grandison also revealed another very alarming trend with people in home isolation.

375 COVID-19 positive individuals have refused transportation to receive further treatment for their condition.
