Another call has come for more Barbadians to invest in turning sunshine and wind into electricity.
This time the encouragement is from the Barbados Private Sector Association (BPSA), and is specifically for local farmers to consider buying into photovoltaic or PV farms, once arable lands would be preserved for agriculture production.
PBSA Chairman Mrs. Trisha Tannis gave farmers this advice as she spoke at the Annual General Assembly of the Barbados Agricultural Society at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Conference Centre, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael on Saturday.
Ryan Broome was there and filed this report.
