Barbados has recorded yet another road fatality.
The incident occurred around 6:25 a.m. today, along Bromefield Main Road, St. Lucy.
Police say a pedestrian was struck by a minibus while he was attempting to cross the road.
The pedestrian, 64-year-old George Broomes, of Bromefield, St. Lucy was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle, but was subsequently pronounced dead while receiving medical treatment.
Investigations are ongoing.
This is the tenth recorded road fatality for the year.
