A pedestrian has died following a collision, which involved a van owned by the Barbados Police Service.
He has been identified as 44-year-old Anthony Outram of Oughterson Road, near Bushy Park, St. Philip.
The incident occurred along Bushy Park Main Road around 8:50 p.m. Saturday.
Police say initial investigations reveal the van was travelling along the said road from the direction of Beulah heading towards Bushy Park Racing Circuit, when the pedestrian, who was on the left side of the road, was struck.
A doctor visited the scene and pronounced death.
Investigations are continuing into this matter.
