Farmers in Barbados will be paying more for feed products effective March 15.
Word of this from Senior Commercial Manager at Pinnacle Feeds Ltd. (PFL) Denisha Mayers-Gardner.
She says PFL will be adjusting the price of its feed products by an average of 8% over existing prices.
According to her the increase may vary slightly by feed type.
Ms. Mayers-Gardner says with the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, coupled with strong demand from China and uncertainty over the supply from South America due to adverse weather conditions, PFL continues to be adversely impacted with respect to the price of the primary inputs to the plant.
