A commitment has been made by the Ministry of Youth and Community Empowerment, to build a stable and cohesive society through the empowerment and involvement of youth and communities.
This is the word from the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Francine Jordan. She was speaking at a Church Service to mark the 29th anniversary of the Community Independence Celebrations.
Ms Jordan stated that she believes the building of the community can help with the social and economic development of Barbados. She also heralded the Community Independence Celebrations as one that engenders patriotism.
