Focus on next steps

There is a plan in place to implement financial literacy into the educational curriculum.

Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Sandra Husbands, spoke about this at the opening of the University of the West Indies’ International Women’s Day celebrations.

During the forum, she stated that she has had conversations with all the persons who would head tertiary institutions on how they can add a financial aspect to various majors.

Ms Husbands also spoke to the importance of this, especially for women.
