Food establishments targeted in armed robberies

A Chinese restaurant, a small food vendor and the KFC outlet at Sheraton are the most recent victims of the recent uptick in armed robberies across the island.

The Chinese restaurant at Six Roads remains closed while KFC Sheraton was very much open for business.

However, Mall management told CBC they had no comment at this time.

Food vendor Mona Harris-Atkins did speak with the CBC about the scary situation last Friday.

She says initially she was thinking of closing things down but given that she provides employment for others she can’t.
