France looking to deepen ties with Barbados

France is seeking to deepen its ties with Barbados and the region.

That’s the word from non-resident French Ambassador to Barbados – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Francis Etienne.

He was speaking during a reception aboard the frigate Ventôse, which is currently docked at the Bridgetown Port.

Several dignitaries including Amor Lady Mottley, mother of Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, attended the function.

Home Affairs Minister Wilfred Abrahams was also present and welcomed the Commander and his crew to the island.
