Barbadians will find out tomorrow whether or not they will have to pay increased rates for electricity, and if so by how much.
The Fair Trading Commission is hosting a press conference tomorrow at its Good Hope, Green Hill, St. Michael headquarters where the decision will be announced on the Barbados Light & Power Company Limited’s application for a review of electricity rates.
The Commission wrapped up public hearings on the application by the power company a few months ago, following submissions by attorneys and officials from the company as well as a number of intervenors.
