There is an assurance tonight that the Government is working on beefing up its cyber-defence systems in the wake of recent cyber-attacks at different Government departments.
Minister of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology, Davidson Ishmael, says work is ongoing through his Ministry.
He says a lot of progress has been made in further securing networks but admits there is always room for improvement.
In acknowledging a major multi-million dollar bust of hackers by the FBI in the United States recently, Minister Ishmael says thousands of cyber-attacks are taking place every day around the globe.
He adds that training employees is critical going forward.
