The Haynesville Youth Club has set sail on a Caribbean cruise on the Grandeur of the Sea. The 7 day trip is expected to be filled with fun for the youth group.
While bidding the group farewell, Member of Parliament for St. James South Sandra Husbands noted travel plays an important role in the development of young minds, as it broadens their view of the world.
This will be the Club’s 13th trip since its inception, and the youth are set to perform in St. Lucia and Antigua and Barbuda.
According to President of the Club and Youth Commissioner Peter Skeete, these trips also provide a priceless opportunity for cultural exchange with our Caribbean counterparts.
