The possessions of some vagrants who had taken up residence outside the Treasury Building were today removed.
It was part of a clean up effort which involved workers from the Sanitation Service Authority, in the presence of officers from the Barbados Police Service.
Building Supervisor at the Treasury Building Asquith Lorde told CBC News individuals had been defacing the property and had been asked to move several times but they had not.
Other areas in the City are affected by the activity.
The Building Supervisor says the number of vagrants fluctuates.
