Immunisation campaign negatively impacted by nurses’ unavailability

Recent industrial action taken by some nurses across the public health system has negatively impacted the National Immunisation Programme for COVID-19.

This as daily, nurses have been unavailable to administer the vaccines at some sites, which continue to be reduced because of this issue.

However, the Ministry of Health and Wellness is assuring members of the public that despite the current challenges, they will be updated in a timely manner as to which sites will operate on a daily basis.
