The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is seeing an increase in the number of patients presenting with respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19.
This was confirmed by the hospital’s Communications Specialist Shane Sealy.
He tells CBC News these patients have been warded at the hospital in isolation.
While the visitation risk level remains at green, people visiting the institution are being encouraged to wear masks and take the necessary precautions to safeguard themselves and patients.
