The Barbados Drug Service has advised that people should expect increased wait times at some polyclinic pharmacies.
This is until further notice, due to the implementation of a new pharmacy management system.
The affected pharmacies include those at the Winston Scott Polyclinic, the David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex, the St. Joseph Outpatient Clinic, and the St. Andrew Outpatient Clinic.
The new system is expected to result in an improvement in patient records management, treatment, and pharmaceutical health care and safety.
