A Police investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed last night.
The incident took place at Morris Gap, Westbury Road, St. Michael.
The deceased has been identified as 29 year old Kemar Murray of Ferniehurst, Black Rock, St. Michael.
Police say they were responding to reports of gunshots heard in the area and upon arrival at the scene around 8:15 p.m., found the body of a man lying on the road with what appeared to be gunshot injuries.
Murray was pronounced dead by a Police Medical Officer.
Paulette Murray, aunt of the deceased, last interacted with her nephew on Sunday.
She says he wasn’t disobedient nor rude.
