The Caribbean Examinations Council has revealed that an examination centre in Jamaica has been identified as the source of a leaked Maths CSEC exam paper.
This from Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the CXC, Dr. Wayne Wesley, during a press briefing this afternoon.
The CSEC Maths Paper 02 was shared on various social media platforms, ahead of students taking the exam on Wednesday.
Dr. Wesley says officials are still trying to ascertain the extent of the leak.
Officials declined to provide any further information on the source of the leak, except to say the matter has been reported to the Ministry of Education in Jamaica.
Dr. Wesley however said reporting it to the police is still an option.
