Jersey barriers being cleaned on ABC Highway

Motorists can expect delays along the ABC Highway at night for the next week as the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) in conjunction with KAANN Building and Maintenance Services continues to clean the jersey barriers on the highway.

Work will be carried out from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and traffic will be reduced to one lane.

The Garfield Sobers Roundabout to Graeme Hall Roundabout was scheduled to be cleaned yesterday May 14.

The cleaning schedule is as follows;

• Wednesday, May 15 – Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute Roundabout to JTC Ramsay (Bussa) Roundabout
• Thursday, May 16 – JTC Ramsay (Bussa) Roundabout to Norman Niles Roundabout
• Friday, May 17 – Norman Niles Roundabout to Clyde Walcott Roundabout
• Saturday, May 18 – Clyde Walcott Roundabout to Everton Weekes Roundabout
• Sunday, May 19 – Everton Weekes Roundabout to the roundabout near Cost-U-Less
• Tuesday, May 21 – The roundabout near Cost-U-Less to Bagatelle Roundabout.

Motorists are urged to slow down and exercise caution when travelling through the work area.
