It was an appreciative showing by the scores of Barbadians who turned out in the National Botanical Gardens for the National Cultural Foundation’s (NCF) ‘Joyful Joyful Concert’.
Armed with chairs, umbrellas and blankets, they positioned themselves at various vantage points to absorb the performances on stage from the NIFCA stars, the Barbados Youth Orchestra and the Barbados National Youth Symphony Orchestra.
And Chief Executive Officer of the NCF, Carol Roberts-Reifer explained the event was about more than just providing entertainment.
