In another two weeks or so, residents in Kendal, St. John will have a spruced-up area where they can picnic and host other activities.
This is because the park at Kendal Woods is the newest addition to the Ministry of Environment and National Beautification’s Clean and Green initiative.
Member of Parliament for the area, Charles Griffith says this makes the second park in St. John to be beautified under the programme.
Resident Lorraine Corbin-Lorde welcomes the initiative.
She says she has been trying to beautify the area for the past five years.
