Law lecturer new acting judge

The Supreme Court of Barbados has a new acting judge.

She is attorney-at-law Ms. Fiona Hinds, who was appointed Justice (Ag) of the Supreme Court of Barbados, effective April 4, 2023, the Judicial Communications Office of the Court announced yesterday.

She will act as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Barbados until further notice.

Ms. Hinds, a part-time lecturer at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus, was called to the bar 29 years ago around the same time she started teaching.

She has tutored business law in the Faculty of Management Studies, and tutored and lectured undergraduates and postgraduates in the Faculty of Law, also at UWI, Cave Hill. (PR)
