Acting Attorney General Wilfred Abrahams is encouraging 46 new attorneys-at-law admitted to the Bar on Monday not to yield to temptations that may come.
He gave the caution while speaking to them at the Barbados Supreme Court in Bridgetown.
Mr. Abrahams also told them there were aspects of the justice system vital to their survival, with the Supreme Court Registry being one, and as such should be respected.
The acting Attorney General, whose substantive post is Minister of Home Affairs, Information and Public Affairs, singled out the male attorneys admitted to the Bar, given the negatives surrounding young men in society.
The top performing student, incidentally, is a male, Barbadian Eleazar Williams.
