The Barbados Water Authority is informing residents and businesses in parts of St. James & St. Thomas that two (2) Pumping Stations which supply them with water are currently offline today, Tuesday, July 19th to facilitate emergency repairs to bursts on large diameter mains at Hinds Hill, St. Michael and Trents, St. James.
Customers in the following areas may be affected by low pressure or water outages as a result:

Cane Garden
Jackson
Jackson Terrace
Edgehill
Melrose
Arthur Seat
Welches Heights
Prior Park
Warrens Terrace
Warrens
Warrens Park South
Clermont
Clearview Heights
Husbands
Meadowvale Heights
Crystal Heights
Redman’s Village
Bagatelle Park
Bagatelle Gardens
Hoyte’s Village
Arch Hall
Seaview
Halcyon Heights
Sunset Ridge
Lancaster
Orange Hill
Apes Hill
Greenwich
and surrounding districts.
The BWA strongly recommends that customers in these districts who still have a pipe-borne supply, store water to assist during the period of work.
Water tankers will be dispatched to assist customers in affected areas as a temporary measure, however there may be delays due to heavy demand.
The Barbados Water Authority has apologised for any inconvenience this service disruption may cause.
