Police have made a major breakthrough with a spate of sheep theft impacting some government agencies and private farmers.
The breakthrough came when they were caught on camera doing the deed.
They were taking the animals from as far away as Greenland in St. Andrew.
Some were reportedly recovered in areas in St. Michael.
Dr. Leroy McClean consultant to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, spoke with CBC TV8’s Morning Report about the high incidence of theft.
Dr. McClean says they were very fortunate to get some of the sheep back thanks to technology.
