Close to quarter of a million dollars in prize money is up for grabs in Government’s Modern School Infrastructure Design Competition.
The initiative was announced today during a ceremony attended by Senior Minister Dr. William Duguid, Education Minister Kay McConney and other officials.
There are four categories for the designs, Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Special Needs and the top 3 in each category will be awarded.
Dr. Duguid says the competition is open to all registered architects.
Minister McConney outlined the expectations for the designs, while Chief Education Officer, Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw shared her view on what schools of the future should encompass.
