The vast majority of the key players in the local private sector are participating in the efforts announced by Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley to ease the high cost of some goods and services in Barbados.
That’s according to President of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Anthony Branker.
He’s been telling us about the role of the private sector in this plan.
Mr. Branker adds the reductions will come with some degree of cost for many of the entities, but they are also cognizant of the national importance of the move, and the challenges facing the country at this time.
